Well then... This type of fraud has been increasing recently, and criminals are using social engineering to deceive more and more people.

The fraud consists of applying glue to the card reader to trap the customer's card. Desperate, the customer looks for help, and then the fraudster appears, offering assistance and advising the customer to call the 0800 number on the ATM sticker. However, the sticker refers to a fake customer service center, where the customer is instructed to enter their PIN and personal data, which are immediately intercepted by the criminals. Unable to retrieve their card, the customer leaves the ATM, and the fraudster takes advantage of the situation to withdraw money using the stolen data.

Faced with this new threat, Ebrax has taken the lead by developing EBX Bond Shield, a sensor that detects glue vapors and immediately triggers actions such as shutting down the ATM, activating alarms, and more. The goal is to detect fraud as it happens, disabling the ATM in question and preventing customers from falling victim to the scam.
